Glossier stems from the brainchild of former Vogue assistant Emily Weiss. It all started when she was searching the internet for inspiration and couldn’t find anything that spoke to her; enter Into The Gloss, or ITG as it is now more commonly known. Emily created Into The Gloss; a blog where she interviewed models, makeup artists, and the strong women she admired about what they used and why.
The site has since become ‘the holy grail’ of beauty blogs and gained a cult following of dedicated readers from all over the world, leading the way for Glossier to follow. And so it was born, the home of the real-beauty revolution.
Bleach is a London-based hair salon that made a very successful leap into launching their own product line, and seems to be one of the few brands that offers a range of colours on the more ‘unusual’ end of the spectrum, in the main high-street stores. Nearly November already!? I know right! This month has flown by so quickly I feel like it’s going to be Christmas next week and I’m still sat here wondering when summer ended. The only thing exciting about peeling out of your cosy warm bed on a freezing winter’s day is the excitement of a little treat in the advent calendar. Now, imagine that little chocolate treat that just about lures you out of hibernation, was a little present; different each day and a complete surprise.
Sounds like the best way to wake up, right? And that’s exactly how all the big brands are planning to build up to Christmas this year. Here in Manchester it appears that we have completely skipped autumn and are heading straight for winter instead. This means it’s time to up my skin-care game as the cold winter weather can be as harsh on the skin as the sun can, and it’s important to take care of your skin all year round.
I have only really begun to fully understand the importance and get into skin-care and beauty regimes over the last couple of years, and I’ve never been one for doing much more to my nails than painting them or getting them done when I fancy it.
That is, until I got this fancy new nail care system from Scholl to make it a whole lot simpler and to help me take care of my nails.Read More
