Ace of Spades
So life is finally sort of settling back down after my return from holiday. Is it just me or do you find that it always takes a couple of weeks to get back to normal after a vacation? You’d think you can just come back, unpack, do some washing and then you’re done. That’s what I was expecting anyway. Wrong. I have done MANY washes, put all the holiday clothes away (I’m pretty sure I won’t be wearing shorts or bikinis in Manchester anytime soon), then there’s getting back on top of food shopping and the apartment, and probably the hardest thing – going back to work.
So as you may have seen if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, that I bought a few goodies out there from the outlets, and I finally got round to choosing my birthday presents from Jay. You should know that my birthday is in January and we went to Florida in April. So the decision was a hard one! (It was between a handbag, a tattoo and a puppy, so you see my problem.)
Anyway, so i opted for a handbag, and ended up with three! These are my two new Kate Spade beauties…

Back to Reality & Leibster Award
Hey Guys!
So I’m sadly back on Manchester soil. I had an incredible time in Florida, and cannot wait to tell you all about it! First of all I want to apologise massively for my blogging absence. I had such a busy few weeks before going away that I had zero time to plan anything, and was on the last-minute as usual with packing and all that holiday malarkey that I was just thinking I’d take my camera and do some whilst I was over there.. completely forgetting how insanely busy it would be when i got out there. That’s why I only managed one measly post.. So I’d better get making up for it! I did manage to get loads of goodies and awesome ideas for posts though, so keep following to check it all out.
Ok so after that quick update, I’d like to focus this post on something pretty exciting that happened whilst I was away; I was nominated by three lovely bloggers for the Liebster Award.
HEY! from Orlando, FL
So I’m over half way through the most amazing holiday and have only just managed to squeeze in some time for a quick post…
Primark Haul
I recently nipped into Primark to get some last minute bits for my holiday to Florida (which, by the way, is the day after tomorrow!!!) and ending up coming out with a mini haul! So I just wanted to share a few of the bargains I managed to pick up with you. Maybe you’re on the lookout for something similar…
Label M Haircare
Label M has not only won many industry awards, but it is the official hair care product of fashion week. I have been lucky enough to try out some of the old faves and awesome new products on my blonde mane and wanted to share it with you guys.
First of all, as a graphic design graduate and a lover of some good packaging, I really love the Label M simple but bold style. The products in their tall slim bottles feel quite modern and are exactly what you would expect from a brand that is associated with fashion. They just look like they would be great products, and they are.

18 Tips for Getting on the Property Ladder
In 2013 I was lucky enough to buy my first property. It was easily one of the most stressful things I have ever done, but 100% worth it. It can be such a daunting thing to even think about as there is so much to take into consideration, you can feel like your brain is about to explode 99% of the time. Well I did anyway.
I thought it would be helpful to make a list of what I found most important, and what helped the most during the process. Did I mention I also love lists? And hopefully this will prevent your brain from feeling quite as explosive as mine.
Hanging up the Blanket Scarf
It’s that time of year when the sun starts to return, and half of Britain is already wearing sunglasses and shorts, even though it’s still cold.
The past few days in Manchester have been lovely and sunny, and for some parts of the day it’s actually not been cold; although I wouldn’t go as far as warm, and definitely not hot, which some people seem to think it is judging by their outfit choices. Spring is definitely arriving and I’m getting excited about what summer and beautiful weather will bring. I much prefer a summer wardrobe, so I’m looking forward to that, but I will be sad to put away some of my winter faves.
