Angeleye Fashion
If you caught any of my fashion posts earlier this year (check them out here and here), you will probably know I really got into dresses. I used to always be a jeans-and-a-nice-top kinda gal, but this year I loved styling dresses; something about a dress is so easy to just throw on with some cute shoes and you feel really put together.
Angeleye sent me this cute leopard print wrap dress, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share some of my favourite styling tips for dresses in winter.
Styling Dresses for Winter
Dresses can be a little harder to style in winter; especially for a casual look. I would suggest opting for some knee-high or over-the-knee boots if you still want to stick to a mini dress. I’d go for something long sleeve and quite simple, paired with a long coat and beanie.
Alternatively, choose a midi dress and add some chunky statement boots and a cute bag to dress it down, like I did here. I am loving the chunky boot trend as they create quite a cool, edgy look and I like to pair more girly items like dresses and skirts with grungy accessories for contrast.
Day to Night
This outfit is perfect if you need something to take you through from day to evening style. I’d wear this dress in the day for work or meetings, and take it into the evening for drinks or a dinner date. You could also pair it with a black roll-neck underneath for extra layers.
Angeleye have some great options for winter, and some beautiful dresses that would be perfect for party season and winter weddings.
