Spring Outfit Inspo
After what feels like forever, I’m finally pulling together some spring outfit inspo as the weather starts to transition. Spring-summer is my favourite time of year, mostly because I just love warmer weather, but also because it’s my favourite fashion-wise too. There’s something so nice about spring-summer fashion. I feel like it’s much more fun and versatile, and for me, my favourite pieces are definitely summer pieces.
I also feel like it’s easier to just throw outfits together and still look like you made an effort. In winter you can obviously just throw on trousers and a sweater, or a jogger set, but for me they can feel a bit more casual or loungey; especially after living in them for the past few months in lockdown! This outfit is a great example of something super comfy, simple and easy to throw on, but looks really pulled together with a few accessories too.
Everything5pounds
I’ve actually never shopped on Everything5pounds.com before, but I have heard a lot about them. They reached out to me to see if they could send me some goodies to try and so I picked out some pieces to give me some spring outfit inspo. There was quite a lot of stuff on the site that wasn’t really my taste, but if you’re happy to have a good browse then you can definitely find some hidden gems on there.
Everything5pounds sell fashion for men and women, kids, and accessories too. They have regular drops of new styles, and thanks to the super low price, a lot of it sells out straight away. They have great reviews on Trustpilot, and I was pleasantly surprised when I checked out their Instagram page too. Everything5pounds are definitely making an effort to keep on top of new styles and trends, and I saw quite a lot of outfits I liked on their feed. I put together a few outfits for spring with my pieces; this being the first.
Styling
I picked out this grey tee dress. It reminded me of the graphic tees that I would pick up in vintage stores that are really on trend right now. I also love anything grey marl, and the pastels in the print colours are really in now too. To style, I threw this on with my high-top Vans, and would style with a denim jacket and some jewellery. I also picked out this cute gold coloured watch which I thought would be a great layering piece with bracelets and rings too.
If you wanted to go for a dressier look you could add some wedges or strappy heels and an oversized blazer. I’d also wear with chunky sandals in summer or for holiday too.
You can head to the Everything5pounds site here to shop. Stay tuned for my other spring outfit posts!
