If you have read my blog before you may have seen my post last year about the ‘Veni, Vidi, Amavi‘ ring set I got from Dixi. This was my first purchase from them, and begun my obsession with their products as well as silver jewellery. Before this I was more of a golden girl but I am absolutely loving silver at the moment.
Every so often I will have a little browse through the Dixi website to see what new jewellery I can get my hands on, and last week I came across this beauty.

These beautiful bracelets are on sale as they are ‘seconds’ meaning that they may feature imperfections in the text or plating. I actually think they look perfect as they are. The text is script style anyway and isn’t intended to look neat, which just adds to the character.
You can also choose your colour, so if you don’t want to go for silver, there’s also gold and rose gold options.
The main reason this gorgeous accessory actually stood out to me wasn’t because of the price; it was because of the message.
Sink or swim.
One of my new year’s resolutions this year was to be more positive, and I can honestly say that I have stuck to it and that it has had such a great effect on me. Just taking each day and even each hurdle with a positive attitude has made everything around me change. I feel stronger, happier, braver, more focussed, content and thankful for everything. I know I can do anything if i put my mind to it and this just reminds me of that each time I look down at it. There are always going to be challenges, even when I am positive, but I know that I can choose to either sink or swim in those situations, and I seem to be pretty good at swimming at the moment.
I also like how subtle the message is printed onto the bracelet; it isn’t screaming out ‘read me’ to everyone who looks at it – just a little reminder in cute script that you can find the positive in all situations if you put your mind to it.
I also think this is a great idea for a tattoo!
