Day 5 🗽 (half way through feels like a srs achievement well done me)
✨ Started with brunch at Jacks Wife Freda - it was fine. The only average meal of the whole trip and I just think this place is extremely overrated! The Bloody Mary was the highlight.
✨ Headed over to dumbo for the views (obvs) and there were some flea markets on as it was a weekend. Fun place for strolling around and doing some shopping 🙌
✨ @timeoutmarketnewyork is super close by AND has a roof terrace with incredible views. Order some drinks and watch the work go by 🏙️
✨ we then went to the museum of food and drink (shocking I know) this is a fun experience but nothing out of this world, it’s not super expensive and doesn’t take long either so worth the trip if you’re a foodie.
✨ honestly American supermarkets are like the best day out for me 😂 we went to Dumbo market to pick up some snacks and drinks before heading to another neighbourhood in Brooklyn.
✨ hosted by the wonderful @beckykrill, we saw some great artists including the one and only @robbiecavanaghmusic in a fun intimate show - I’ve said this before but going to see gigs when I travel is one of my favourite things. Also met some fabulous people and got extra food recommendations since my list of 400+ is never enough 🤭
✨ after a fun night we headed back to the lower east side and stopped for a slice of pizza and a nightcap on the way home 🍕🍺 there’s a high chance slices and beer would be my regular diet if I lived in NYC 🫶
✨ obviously panicking at the point that we are half way through the trip and getting sad about leaving 😂

@detroitslims opens tomorrow!!! 🍕🍕🍕 their signature 10” rectangle focaccia base is super soft and there are 12 deeeelicious flavours to choose from - the fennel sausage and cheeseburger come highly recommended by yours truly BUT I need to get back to try the other flavours asap. You also can’t go here without getting several dips (dill jalapeño ranch is a must) 👌 and save room for something sweet cause the thick shakes are SO good and their bumpy cake ice cream sundae is on my hit list 🥤🍦🧁 (invite)

Lasting perfection foundation (literally) and it’s £7.99 😱🧡 this is the newest foundation from @collectioncosmetics_uk and it’s now my new daily fave 👌👌 actually INSANE for less than a tenner - it’s full coverage but not heavy at all, SPF30 and has loads of vitamins and goodness in there so has a big tick for doubling up as skincare ✅ I use the matte version but there’s a satin one too, and this is shade 11W maple warm 🍁 I’ve genuinely never had a foundation this great for this cheap ✨ love love love 💕 (gifted but will 100% be buying 7 more)
