Things People Forget when Planning a Wedding

Wedding planning can be so much fun, but at the same time, there is a lot to think about, and you may also find that it’s easy to overlook the smaller details of the big day. If you want to make your life easier, then this guide will break down the things that people commonly forget.

Ceremony Time

One big thing people tend to overlook is the ceremony. If you think that the odd guest may arrive late, then it’s worth having your ceremony early. You could change the ceremony time if you want, but tell your guests to come early. If you’re putting invites out, putting the time down as being earlier is never a bad thing, and most people won’t even notice! If you can keep this in mind, then it will help you a lot. Another thing you need to do is make sure that you don’t overlook the seating. You may want to consider allocating the first few rows to the closest people in your lives, so you can make sure that nobody misses out on a seat. If you do this, then you will find it way easier to make sure that everyone has their place.

The Music

You probably know what you are going to be walking down the aisle to. This is great! But at the same time, try to make sure that you’re also choosing music that is suitable for your guests at the party. If you want to make things a lot easier, then one thing you can do is hire a wedding DJ. When you do, you can feel good knowing that you are going to have the right soundtrack to your special night. As they will have music to suit every taste, you can feel confident knowing that you are always going to keep the mood up, and that you are also going to feel good yourself.

Individual Menu Cards

If you are giving your guests a meal choice, getting some individual menu cards printed is always a good idea. You do want to give your guests a few months so they can RSVP, and you also need to give them a chance to give their meal selection as well. Getting this done early will help you to avoid a lot of stress. If you can give your guests a menu card with their name on it, it will ralso emind them what they have chosen. It could even stop some mix-ups from happening! Putting their name on some stationery will also go a long way here. So try to keep that in mind if you can, as it will make a major difference to your guests, and it will also give them a bit of a keepsake that they can take home with them. Small touches always make a big difference.
