Underwear as Outerwear
Underwear as outerwear is a trend that comes back every season, and has for as long as I can remember. However this year, it is back bigger and better than ever. It has even been popular on the runways too, and I actually read that hotpant sales were up 114% for SS24! Miu Miu, Loewe and Victoria Beckham have all showcased their own versions. And of course, if its hot on the runway, its hot off the runway! The trend has been all over the high street stores too, with micro-shorts, corsets and underwear style pieces on all your favourite sites.

I’ve actually really enjoyed shopping for more underwear as outerwear this year, and one of my favourites is LH Boutique. There is a dedicated ‘clothing‘ section, for pieces that are more flexible to wear both day and night.
My Favourites
If you love a corset style top, head straight for the basques and bustiers section. I also like adding a fun stocking to a normal outfit to add a little fun, and LH boutique have a tonne of colours and styles in the stockings and hosiery section. I am also a sucker for a jeans and a nice top look – some of the longline bralettes on LH Boutique are perfect for this. There are also some super cute wetlook tops too which I love!
I know how great the parent brand is, so it wasn’t a surprise to find how great LH Boutique is. Its perfect for those who want to shop for things like bras, lingerie, costumes and bridal wear. They offer a really great range but keep it a little more PG for those who don’t want to stray into any of the more extreme pieces.
