A recently discovered and one of my newest favourite independent jewellery brands is By Rae Jewellery.

By Rae began when founder Ruby was travelling and found that her jewellery kept tarnishing and going green. A common problem for me, and I’m sure lots of other jewellery lovers out there too! Jewellery can be a very pricey investment, but like Ruby, I also want pieces I can wear every day and not have to worry about them taking them off to shower or swim. Basically something cute that is good quality, affordable and won’t tarnish.

By Rae was then started in lockdown, to offer this solution to the market. By Rae provides jewellery that is accessible to all, gives you ‘that girl’ energy when you’re wearing it, and gives back to the planet at the same time. For each order placed, they fund 1lb of plastic to be removed from oceans all over the world too. So you can feel your best self in your newest accessories, whilst knowing you’re helping the planet too.

Honestly I had eyed these up for my summer holidays. The pearly details would look so cute with salty hair, a tan and my summer wardrobe. However I only realised when I got them in winter after they were sold out for a while, that they are perfect for all seasons. The pearls look so cute with my winter wardrobe too. They add a little fun to a cosy, oversized look, but also pair perfectly with sparkles for the party season.
