Hello haircare journey of 2024! Vegamour recently reached out to me to see if I wanted to try their range of hair care. I hadn’t heard of the brand before but after a few moments of being on their website I was immediately sold. The brand itself just has an amazing approach to hair, and if that isn’t enough, there are endless testimonials to back up just how effective their products are.

Vegamour is a holistic approach to hair wellness that incorporates clinically tested plant-based ingredients that work in tandem to promote healthy, beautiful hair naturally, without the use of harmful chemicals or short-term ‘fixes’ that can lead to long-term problems. Vegamour’s products are also 100% vegan, cruelty free, safe and use effective products for achieving thicker, fuller hair. Gro Essentials Kit

After doing the quiz I was recommended the GRO Essentials Kit, which comprises of the GRO Hair Serum, GRO Revitalizing Shampoo and GRO Revitalizing Conditioner. This kit is formulated for thinning, lackluster hair. The serum uses clinically-tested, plant-based phytoactives to improve overall hair wellness, soothing the scalp and increasing the appearance of hair density and thickness. GRO Hair Serum

Ok so first lets talk about the hair serum. First of all, I was super excited since Vegamour actually sent me the 3 pack of this product, which is one of their bestsellers and an award winner. The reviews of this are just incredible and I was really keen to try this product. The serum is powered by plant-based actives, which reduces signs of shedding and fallout. All you need to do is apply the fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula to the scalp daily to support an optimal scalp environment for stronger and more resilient strands.

The product comes with a little dropper which makes it really easy to apply to your hair, and as mentioned, it is really not greasy at all! With other products like this, I have often found them to be messy to apply, and leave the hair feeling greasy. The only way I’ve previously been able to apply a hair product like this is to wear a slick bun afterwards, as they usually give a greasy shine to the hair, meaning I could never apply and then leave it down. However Vegamour is so discreet! I can quite easily apply this daily and leave it to do its thing, while I do mine. Perfect!

Review

This might be my favourite of the items I received. Truly one of its kind in the non-greasy formula, easy to apply and a great way to add a regular haircare step into your routine. I’d recommend leaving it in your bathroom or where you get ready for bed. Apply alongside your skin products, et voila! No mess, no fuss, and great hair. I’ve honestly seen a real difference in my hair growth and its feeling a lot fuller too, which is great since I’ve recently coloured it, which tends to cause damage.

Ok, lets move onto the shampoo and conditioner. This small but powerful duo is the easiest to incorporate into your routine. Enhanced with clinically proven plant actives and Vegamour’s proprietary Karmatin™ (the first-of-its-kind vegan keratin!) – this clean, colour-safe duo was made to bring you your shiniest, healthiest hair yet! GRO Revitalising Shampoo and Conditioner utilise micro-encapsulated vegan b-SILK™ protein, which physically bonds to hair follicles and remains attached to strands even after rinsing. And if you struggle to remember to add extra steps into your routine, then simply replacing your usual shampoo and conditioner with this requires minimal effort. They are both lovely formulas, not to mention the aesthetic packaging. These are basically a no-brainer for me!

Review

I genuinely have recommended this to my mum, so you know I love it! As I mentioned, the easiest way to incorporate hair care into your usual routine is just replacing a product you would use normally. Just replace your usual shampoo and conditioner with these two and let the results speak for themselves. I obviously have been using the serum too, but I have 100% noticed a difference in my hair. I feel like my hair thinned over time with bleaching and colouring, but I genuinely think its getting some life and volume back! Honestly LOVE LOVE LOVE!

And last, but certainly by no means least – the GRO Lash Serum. Finally, a lash enhancer without hormones, carcinogens or dangerous side effects! Vegamour’s best-selling GRO Lash Serum (formerly known as vegaLASH!) is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated with plant actives clinically shown to deliver visibly thicker, fuller and more luxurious eyelashes.

I’ve had many a failed attempt with eyelash serums. I am really lucky to have naturally long lashes, so it’s not a huge need for me, but I really see the benefits when I find one that works. I also have lots of friends who’ve tried and tested serums and not raved about them, so I love it when I can find one to share with them too! This one is really gentle on the eyes.. I’ve had horribly stingy serums before, which is certainly not pleasant for something you need to apply so close to your eyes!

Review

Ok so for this one, honestly, I’m totally loving it but so far, for me, the results aren’t as quick as the hair products. However this isn’t to say it doesn’t work. Based on what I’ve seen with my hair, I have full trust that this will come through. I have been using a combo on my hair, and likely less strict with applying this as regular as I should. However, as I mentioned, this applies so easily, the formula is a dream, and it’s something I’m continuing to use. I think I’m pretty sold on the brand already, but I’ll report back and keep you updated on my socials with how this is going too!

Overall I am really enjoying using the products, and I definitely feel like I’m seeing some results already. I had my hair coloured last month and wanted to wait until after I had this done, just so I could sort of try it without any other treatments interfering. I’m glad I did, as I guess after colour treatment I would usually expect some dryness and damage. However I’ve seen the opposite – an improvement in volume and growth, despite cutting and colouring. Magic! I would whole-heartedly recommend Vegamour, and you only need to read some reviews on their page to see how many other would too.
