This is quite possibly my favourite outfit of the summer. I have been living in these oversized Misguided boyfriend tees, as they are super comfy and amazingly easy to dress up with some simple accessories.
On those hotter days and evenings, it can be hard to dress up when you just wanna throw on some shorts and a comfy tee, but this outfit is perfect for both. I added a harness bralette under the baggy tee to add detail and edge to the casual shorts and top look. I then finished off the outfit with some heeled boots, a blazer, and of course, my Chanel. The blazer, bag and shoes are the key pieces that pull the outfit together and add the smart, dressier element to what would just be a baggy top and distressed denim shorts.
I really love outfits that mix both casual and smart together, using a mixture of pieces from both ends of the spectrum. I also believe that making investments in key wardrobe pieces is worth it, as these are the items that will always pull your outfit together. For example, these shorts are from Primark and the Missguided top is around £8, so probably about £15 total; but the jacket, shoes and bag are really what make the look work and will transition with seasons and any outfit perfectly.
