🗽NYC day 2 itinerary:
✨ @magnoliabakery banana pudding for breakfast - not a typical breakfast item obvs, but dessert before midday on holiday is highly recommend, plus I was squeezing in as many meals and NY must-visits as I can and my list is LONG (IYKYK) so dessert at 9am is inevitable. A 100% must try. They have specials alongside the classic if you fancy a different flavour but the OG banana is a must.
✨ Would really recommend @summitov as a great tourist attraction with incredible views and it’s really interactive. We’ve both done different touristy things before so doing a newer one was really fun and there are a lot of different elements to it.
✨ (no pic included and I’m still mad at insta for limiting me to 10 pics BUT) after Summit One it’s a really nice stroll to NoMad/Madison Square Park/Flatiron district. You can also pass the empire state on the way. We stopped at a sports bar for frickles, beers and the England game 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 sports bars in NY are >>>>>. Honestly some of my favourite bars ever and I don’t even like sports.
✨ COQODAQ - so good I did a whole post for this place. One of my favourite restaurants I’ve ever been to. Add it to your list immediately.
✨ highly recommend asking great bartenders for their favourite bars - this goes for anywhere you are. We asked the COQODAQ bartenders for recommendations and their after-work hang of choice was @ampersandbarnyc 👌 great menu and would definitely revisit.
✨ For more cocktails head to @apothekenomad 🍸 this was one of our favourite bars - it’s a hidden speakeasy with an incredible roof terrace, live music and great cocktails. 15/10.
✨ Walk through Times SQ - we were staying central at this point so it’s really fun to walk back through the hustle and bustle at night. Literally everything is open and it’s just a great way to see more rather than get the subway or taxi.
✨ last but not least - more cocktails of course. We ended day 2 at @therumhouse in our hotel. The cocktails here are next level and the music is so good. If you want classic New York cocktail bar then this is the place.

ad. Take your tastebuds to Tokyo at @sixbynicomanchester 🇯🇵 cooking 2nd - 22nd September, this is one of my fave menus yet 👌 I’ve never done the wine pairing before but it was SO good and really affordable, will 100% be doing that every time 🍷
The courses are:
🍗 Chicken Karaage (Crispy Thigh, Togarashi, Oroshi Shoga Ginger)
🍄‍🟫 Tempura (Crisp Enoki Mushroom, Pickled Daikon & Ponzu)
🥞 Okonomiyake (Savoury Kimchi Pancake, Okonomi Sauce, Japanese Mayonnaise)
🍜 Ramen (Miso Sea Bass, Tokyo Turnip, Shimeji Mushroom, Egg Yolk Jam & Kombu Dashi)
🐷 Tonkatsu (Panko Pork Belly, Cabbage, Hokkaido Pumpkin & Yakitori Ham Jam)
🍤 Optional Add-On: Pork & Prawn Skewer (Nori Ranch, Wakame & Mooli Salad)
🍰 Strawberry Candy (White Chocolate, Matcha Cake, Candy Strawberry)
It’s £42 for 6 courses, but there’s a 4 course option available for £25 and a veggie option too. Matched wines are £33. 10/10 would definitely recommend and such great value for money!!
